Delivery

General

The delivery team from MAF Solution Pte Ltd will contact customer to schedule for the delivery. Contact by e-mail only.

Once your order has been placed and received in our warehouse, we will inform you on your estimated delivery date for your items.

When it is closer to your delivery date, we will contact you for an actual delivery date and timeslot subject to availability.

In the event that your order is ready for delivery sooner than the initial estimated delivery date determined pursuant to these Terms, and you accept an earlier estimated delivery date, the earlier delivery date shall become the new estimated delivery date. In these circumstances, the Terms that apply to the estimated delivery date shall apply to the new estimated delivery date. The estimated delivery date in these Terms applies to the delivery of the Products and/or the collection of the MAF Solution Pte Ltd Products, as these services apply to you, where you have prearranged these and MAF Solution Pte Ltd has confirmed these in writing to you.

It would be the customer’s responsibility to check if item(s) (in their packaging) will fit through compartments, doors, staircases, and lifts before placing an order. Product dimensions are shown in the product description on our website.

Delivery is only available from Monday – Saturday. No deliveries on Sunday.

Delivery Fee

Standard delivery is FREE for orders above SGD 500. We will charge SGD 50 for order below SGD 500.

We currently ONLY deliver within Singapore.

Current delivery time is approximately 6-8 weeks.

Receiving

When receiving, customer or appointed 3rd party shall inspect the item(s) and the packaging carefully before our delivery personnel leaves. Any damage(s) found should be reported instantly to us. You can contact us immediately and email us at hello@maf.com.sg and provide a detailed description of the defects together with photos or videos.

In the occasion an exchange for the damage cannot be made, MAF Solution Pte Ltd reserves the right to offer substitute(s) or full refund. MAF Solution Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any consequences direct or indirectly of the delay in the delivery of goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat the agreement as being repudiated by MAF Solution Pte Ltd or to any comparison.

Refusal of Entry

If our delivery team is refused of entry by building management or any 3rd party, MAF Solution Pte Ltd reserves the right to reschedule the delivery based on our next available slot.  An additional fee of $100 may be imposed for the 2nd trip due to refusal of entry on the 1st delivery trip.

Incorrect Delivery Address / Not Present to Receive Delivery

All unsuccessful delivery orders will be returned to our distribution centre. To reschedule for a delivery to the correct delivery address, we will contact you to arrange for the next available delivery with an additional fee of $100 for the 2nd trip of delivery.

Carry-up Service

Carry-up Service is required for delivery to any location above ground floor without direct, unobstructed lift access. This includes carrying furniture up any flight of stairs within apartments or landed property.

Carry-up service is charged at $10 per item, per every non-lift accessible level. Please note that this service is limited to carrying up a maximum of 3 storeys / flights of stairs.

If you require carry-up service, please send a request via our Email: hello@maf.com.sg. Kindly ensure we are notified and have acknowledged your request at least 3 business days before your delivery date.

Disposal Service

Disposal service is available with charges apply. We do not dispose hard waste or fixed carpentry/ furniture. Email us your request via hello@maf.com.sg at least 7 days prior to delivery date.

The disposal service applies only to item-for-item (eg. delivery of new bed and disposal of old bed)

Kindly ensure the disposal item(s) will fit through doors, staircases, and lifts or at least can be dismantled. The disposal item(s) can be no more than 50kgs. MAF Solution Pte Ltd reserves the rights to reject disposal of item(s) if found unfit or not meeting any condition. We shall refund the disposal charges if necessary.

Delay in Delivery

MAF Solution Pte Ltd shall use reasonable endeavours to meet the estimated delivery date. If we do not meet the estimated delivery date, MAF Solution Pte Ltd’s liability shall be limited, at MAF Solution Pte Ltd’s option, to resupplying the Products at a different time. MAF Solution Pte Ltd shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss and/or expense, whether known or unknown to the parties at the time of the sale, including loss of profit and loss of opportunity suffered by you or by any third party claims against you arising out of or in connection with the sale of the Products.

MAF Solution Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay to meet its obligations under these Terms where such delay is occasioned by and/or arises from factors beyond MAF Solution Pte Ltd’s reasonable control.

If at any time after receiving an order from you, MAF Solution Pte Ltd, its supplier, subcontractor, manufacturer or any carrier suffers a Force Majeure Event or an Insolvency Event that prevents or delays MAF Solution Pte Ltd from supplying some or all of the Products set out in an order by the estimated delivery date, MAF Solution may elect to extend the time for performance of the delivery or terminate the order if the Force Majeure Event and/or Insolvency Event continues for a period of 14 days or more, without any liability to you.

In this paragraph:

(a) ‘Force Majeure Event’ shall include, but are not limited to any act of God, fire, earthquake, flood, storm, strikes, lock-outs, bans, pandemics (whether or not known at any relevant time) including Covid-19 (and other coronaviruses), other industrial disturbances, civil riot, government interference and restrictions, by-laws, rules and regulations or order of any competent authority that is beyond MAF Solution Pte Ltd’s, its supplier’s, subcontractor’s, manufacturer’s or any carrier’s control and that could not reasonably have been expected to have known at the time MAF Solution Pte Ltd receives an order from you; and

(b) ‘Insolvency Event’ shall include but are not limited to any one or more of the following events:

(i) a controller, administrator, liquidator, trustee in bankruptcy or similar person being appointed to it or to any of its assets or undertakings or any step is taken to do so;

(ii) a resolution that it be wound up is passed or proposed or process is filed in a court seeking an order that it be wound up;

(iii) it resolves to enter into, or enters into, any moratorium, arrangement, compromise or composition with any of its creditors, other than in the ordinary course of its business;

(iv) anything having a substantially similar effect to any of the events specified in sub-clauses (i) to (iii) above, inclusive, of this definition happens to it under the law of any jurisdiction.
